BID OPENINGS / REQUEST FOR BID

 The Coweta County Water and Sewer Department is seeking sealed proposals to install water main and appurtenances in conjunction with the intersection improvements at SR 154 at Lower Fayetteville Rd. All work shall conform to the Coweta County Development Standards for the Design and Installation of Water Systems.

 Sealed proposals that are clearly marked should be returned to the Coweta County Water and Sewerage Authority by May 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM at which time the bids will be opened. The Coweta County Water and Sewerage Authority Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals with or without cause when such rejection is in the overall best interest of the Authority.

OUTDOOR WATER USE INFORMATION 

The State of Georgia has returned to a non-drought schedule for outdoor water use.

Outdoor water use is allowed three days a week, at any time of the day excluding hours 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, on designated days.

 

LANDSCAPING

To be water efficient, landscape watering should not occur between

10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

IRRIGATION / SPRINKLER SYSTEMS

An irrigation meter must be purchased if you currently have an irrigation / sprinkler system or plan to install an irrigation / sprinkler system.

Prices range from $375.00 to $1,000.00.
