NEW SERVICE

Based on your credit, deposits will range from $0 to $200.00; however, you have the option to pay $200.00 deposit without a credit check.
All commercial accounts require a deposit of $200.00.

You may fill out the Service Agreement form at the Water and Sewer Office and pay the appropriate deposit at that time.

A picture ID and copy of rental agreement (if renting), is required at the time the Service Agreement Form is submitted.

WATER & SEWER RATES   (Effective March 1, 2010)

I.     Water Service Rates

A. Base Charge
1. Residential - $10.00/mo. per metered account
2. Schools, Hospitals, and Churches - $12.00/mo. per metered account
3. Commercial, Industrial - $20.00/mo. per metered account

B. Consumption Fee
1. Church/School/Hospital - $5.75 per 1,000 gallons
2. Commercial, Industrial -
              0-5000 - $6.10 per 1,000 gallons
      5001-15,000 - $7.93 per 1,000 gallons
   15,001-30,000 - $9.15 per 1,000 gallons
      Over 30,000 - $10.37 per 1,000 gallons
3. Residential -
           0-5,000 - $5.19 per 1,000 gallons
   5,001-15,000 - $7.32 per 1,000 gallons
 15,001-30,000 - $8.54 per 1,000 gallons
    Over 30,000 - $10.37 per 1,000 gallons

C. Tap on fees

1. Residential - 3/4 inch service- $1,000.00 per meter
2. Residential - 1 inch service-$1,250 per meter
3. Commercial /Industrial/School and Multi Family Residential
        a. 3/4 inch connection - $2,000.00
        b. 1 inch connection - $2,500.00
        c. Larger Meters - Negotiated
4. Churches
        a. 3/4" $1,000.00
        b. 1" $1,250.00

      5,001-15,000 - $7.15 per 1,000 gallons
  15,001 - 30,000 - $8.25 per 1,000 gallons
        over 30,000 - $9.35 per 1,000 gallons
2. Commercial/Industrial
      1,001 - 5,000 - $5.50 per 1,000 gallons
      5,001-15,000 - $7.15 per 1,000 gallons
  15,001 - 30,000 - $8.25 per 1,000 gallons
        over 30,000 - $9.35 per 1,000 gallons
3. Church/School - $5.50 per 1,000 gallons > 1,000 gallons


To Purchase A Meter Tap

Call for pricing during regular business hours. You will need to come to the Coweta County Water Authority to fill out a meter application and have a credit check done to determine the amount of your deposit.  You will be given a flag to place on the right-of-way property line where the meter is to be installed.

Meters are usually installed in 4 to 6 weeks.

Irrigation / Sprinkler Systems

An irrigation meter must be purchased if you currently have an irrigation/sprinkler system or plan to install an irrigation/sprinkler system.

Prices range from $375.00 to $1,000.00.
